In what appears to have been an assassination attempt, gun shots rained down on the recently opened Reign in Thai restaurant in Midtown earlier this evening. As patrons were leaving a black SUV pulled up and opened fire, severely injuring many patrons. Witnesses say at least one patron shot back at the SUV as it sped off.

The Branton Police Department has not released the name any of the victims, but Plus! News has received reports that the target was a high ranking member with the Al-Zein Crew. He his reported as being in stable but critical condition. The motives for this violence is yet to be determined.

Reign in Thai was damaged heavily by gun fire, while other nearby establishments such as The Green Fairy, Brenda’s Baby Boutique, and Replay Consignment Clothing had windows shot out.
