Missed the combat thing



  • I missed the combat thing last night cause I was too sleepy to deal, and there was none today (I admit I slept through the time)… can we possibly do another? or am I shit outta luck?

    Either way is fine LOL

    -Init is determined by composure + awareness. In case of a tie, highest composure goes first. If still a tie, tiers roll !dice 1d6 to determine. Special rules may apply to In certain circumstances, such as formal duels, the ST may elect to substitute Dexterity or another relevant attribute for Composure.

      (Assuming brass knuckle use, they give +1 to damage. Superficial damage is halved, rounded up. Only aggrivated damage on a vampire is full. Armor is only useful to mortals and thinbloods.)

    (Critical successes are only counted as pairs of tens.)

    Defenses in group combat situations do not lose an action. However, they lose 1 die per attacker they’re defending from. (Per roll, not all at once.)

    Attacking multiple opponants still splits the dice pool.

    If you’re out in the open vs in cover when in firearm combat, it’s a -2 to dicepool. In soft cover (e.g. behind bush) is -1. Behind solid cover is no +/-, entrenched is +1.

    Since there’s a tie, both parties add in a win damage of 1, + Weapon damage.

    Any time you would make a roll, you have the opportunity to make a rouse check to increase a stat or use an ability. BP can no longer be spent.

    Bringing a Gun to a Knife Fight
    When engaging in a Close Combat using a firearm, shooter uses Strength+Firearms contested by opponent’s Close Combat pool.

    The opponent does not take any penalties for lacking cover. The shooter takes a -2 dicepool penalty when targetting someone outside the immediate scuffle and if using anything with a longer barrel than a pistol.

    Once you reach your health rating with damage (5 health, 5 damage for example) with superficial or a mix of superficial, you are Impared. -2 to dice rolls. When vampire takes health damage of aggro, they enter torpor.

    Crippling injuries: Roll d10 + agg damage to see injury result.

    Healing:

    Superficial damage can be healed per blood potency rating. Agg can’t be healed during combat.

    For any roll in the game, you can spend a willpower and take a superficial damage to willpower. You can reroll up to 3 non-hunger dice.

    There will be two types of combat scenes: When it shouldn’t be expected when characters would die, mods will use three and out rule (three rounds of combat, than narrators resolve). Combats where death is highly possible will be played until logical end (e.g. enemies dead/fled).
